Steel features high weight, large variations in length, and a concentrated center of gravity. Before purchasing a fence semi-trailer, you should first confirm the length, width, unit weight, bundling method, and loading/unloading equipment for the steel.
When loading, the cargo should be placed within the primary load-bearing area of the vehicle as much as possible, with front-to-back and side-to-side weight properly distributed to avoid significant eccentric loading. Depending on the steel shape and transport route, chains, straps, chocks, or other suitable securing methods can be used.
Before transport, inspect the sideboards, upright posts, tie-down points, tires, suspension, and braking systems. For extra-long steel, verify road height limits, width limits, turning clearance, and cargo overhang regulations in advance.
